In this first year Note Weavers is exploring early years music provision and providers in the North West region.  We are also seeking passionate individuals with potential to join the Note Weavers board of trustees.  Once the CIC is established (Spring 2019) the next stage of activity in line with the above aims will be designed and funding applied for.

Included in this first year is funding for 12 weekly visits by an early years music practitioner to a children’s centre in Blackburn which is within an area of deprivation.  This experienced practitioner is working throughout the autumn term within the nursery and outreach team at this centre to support the practitioners understanding of musical development and practice skills within their work.
